The Refluid business unit is a wel-established reality of the AMA group, where custom solutions for customers in careful compliance with European regulations are designed and built.
For more than 50 years the AMA Group has been a reference point for many manufacturers worldwide in the supply of components for slow handling machines in the agricultural, industrial and logistic sectors. It boasts 18 production centers including 2 plants dedicated to hydraulics, one in Italy and the other in Bosnia Herzegovina.
AMA’s hydraulics production was established in 1980 in San Martino in Rio (Reggio Emilia) next to the headquarters. The AMA Refluid division produces hydraulic cylinders and components and is able to create tailor-made systems according to customer needs. All of them comply with European standards in terms of safety and use.
The technical department of the Business Unit designs and develops functional solutions in accordance with customer needs using components made in-house or purchased from reliable partners. Thanks to the materials and technologies used, reliability is guaranteed over time. In addition to the realization of the design, high flexibility is guaranteed with production in small series and standard articles proposed in the Ama catalogue.
In the current industrial area of 7000 square meters AMA produces a range of single and double acting cylinders, hydraulic top links and parking jack, products for hydraulic circuits such as hoses, quick release couplings, gear pumps, pumps overdrive, orbitrol motors, steering units and hydraulic distributors.
The Ama Adriatic production center is a dynamic reality based near Sarajevo. It covers an area of 3000 square meters and is specialized in customized single and double effect cylinders. In order to guarantee reliability and quality and to face the rigid limits of manufacturing, products are manufactured from start to finish, thanks to the mechanical processing, welding, assembly and testing departments, which meet the highest European quality standards.
Ama’s production areas are equipped with cutting-edge technology, a work system that connects the technical and production departments, connected to an automated storage warehouse in order to have full control of the production cycle up to the supply of the finished product.
