ELECTRIC ADJUSTMENT
Two independent movements, maximum precision.
The new AMA electrically actuated steering column features a fully electric adjustment system that allows the steering wheel’s tilt angle and telescopic extension to be adjusted independently, replacing traditional manual adjustment mechanisms.
The integration of compact, quiet electric linear actuators enables precise adaptation of the steering wheel position to the operator’s physical characteristics and individual needs, allowing the tilt angle and distance from the driver to be adjusted separately.
Precise, smooth and stepless adjustment, down to the millimetre, without jerky movements, allows for more accurate and personalized positioning, improving the ergonomics of the operator station and helping to reduce fatigue during machine operation.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
Independent adjustment
Two independently controlled electric movements allow the steering wheel’s tilt angle and telescopic extension to be adjusted separately, adapting the driving position to the operator’s needs.
Electric linear actuation
Compact, quiet and maintenance-free linear actuators replace traditional manual systems, providing smooth and stepless adjustment.
Millimetre-level precision
Precise adjustment down to the millimetre allows the steering wheel’s angle and distance to be accurately set, improving the comfort and ergonomics of the operator station.
Customization
Stroke lengths, forces and communication interfaces, including the possibility of CAN-bus integration, can be customized to meet the specific application requirements of OEM manufacturers.
