The Oleodynamics Business Unit is a consolidated reality for the AMA Group. We are the point of reference for many manufacturers of agricultural, earthmoving, industrial and recreational vehicles. We produce about 300,000 cylinders a year in our plants in San Martino in Rio (Italy) and Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Our modern, automated production facilities and strong focus on customization make us the ideal partner for large quantities and for developing new projects together.
Starting from the customer’s specifications, the engineering department designs and sizes the most suitable cylinders for the required application using components made in-house or by selected partners, with special attention to European safety and usage regulations.
Alongside the production of hydraulic cylinders, we offer a line of items for the realization of hydraulic power packs and systems such as: flexible hose, both loose and connected, gear pumps, gearboxes, orbital motors, hydroguides and distributors, and valves.
Customised hydraulic cylinders
Our custom cylinders are designed to meet the specific needs of each customer.
The design starts from an initial drawing or a list of technical specifications and tests, which the product must pass.
We offer customized solutions, ensuring reliability and innovation at every stage of the production process.
Technical characteristics
Depending on the use, working pressure and peak pressure, different types of materials are chosen:
- Chrome bar: made of C45, 20MnV6 or 42CrMo4, with optional hardening heat treatments for greater durability.
- Headers: built in G25, GS400 or C45
- Pistons: available in C45 or AVZ
For custom cylinders, the working pressure can reach up to 300 bar.
Standard hydraulic cylinders
Our standard line available from stock in various sizes and with various types of welded ends suits various types of medium-light applications (up to 200 bar). Third point cylinders are an excellent alternative as a non-original replacement for tractors of the various brands on the market.

Refluid components for power packs and oleo-dynamic systems
We offer crimping hoses of different diameters and types, custom-made according to customer specifications. In addition, we can perform static pressure tests on the hoses to ensure their reliability.
Our AMA Monobloc spool valves, of 40 and 80 liters, are ideal for slow-moving machine applications and are available in different circuit configurations.
Group 2 and 3 gear pumps, available in various displacements and with both left and right directions of rotation, are suitable for slow-moving machines and hydraulic power packs.
Our power steering units are designed for agricultural applications, while our power steering columns are reliable and versatile, ideal for slow-moving machines.
